carbon dioxide emissions from the tailpipe.

The battery powered vehicle always seems to be hobbled by energy storage or batteries capacity.

Were we to include the wars fought over oil (national security) and all the transportation, refining, etc. Alternative modes of transportation start looking like an intelligent option.
There are now low speed vehicles for small properties and industrial applications. Neighborhood commuters, highway vehicles, and high speed roadsters.
There is an active movement towards plug-in hybrids.
Conversions, and alternative energy cars are gaining in popularity.
Many applications of magnetic-levitation transportation are operational with trains, and the military have been experimenting with flight.
Mag-Lev, as it’s called, basically reduces the force of gravity, hence the weight of the vehicle. This in turn makes the vehicle easier to move.
